New York Property
Insurance Underwriting Association has implemented three major
improvements to its operating system which will enable you to make
payments, process endorsement changes, and submit Two Tier
Anti-Arson applications twenty-four hours a day, three hundred
sixty-five days a year without writing checks, filling out forms or
going to the post office. Here's how it works.
Balance Due
Payments : Call 212-208-9700. Listen to
our introductory message and follow the prompts. You will be asked
to enter your 10 digit policy number; to choose a payment
option (installment or payment in full) ; and, finally, to
provide the encoded bank information found on the bottom of your
check. Your checking account will be charged just as if you had
written a check.
Two Tier
Anti-Arson Application : This system was designed for
those of you who are required to submit an anti-arson application
annually. If valuation is the same as the prior year and the answers
to questions 1-12 of the underwriting section of the anti-arson
application are no, you can use this service. Call us
at 212-208-9700, listen to the introductory message, and follow all
the prompts.
Endorsement
Requests : If you want to change:
Mortgagee names
Contact name and telephone number
Insured mailing address, or
Increase coverage amount/Add cause of loss/Add coverage
Use the NYPIUA
website (www.nypiua.com). Just click the Auto
Submissions icon on the home page and follow the on-line
prompts. Your endorsement will be processed (viewable only by you on
our website) followed by the mailing of your endorsement policy
within one working day.
