Nypiua Exercises Hurricane Exclusion for Extended Coverage Pertinent to Windstorm Damage

If the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Hurricane Center locates the center of a hurricane or tropical storm within the following coordinates:

Under rules approved by the New York State Insurance Department, New York Property Insurance Underwriting Association will not bind new applications or endorsement request for new or increased coverage for the peril of WINDSTORM DAMAGE ONLY while the storm remains within the above coordinates.

This condition will remain in force until twenty-four (24) hours after the hurricane or tropical storm has left these coordinates.
